When she died, the attendants spared not one expense Strapping her next to a sleepy man in first class. The woman could not argue, she had no defense.
But the man when he awoke, seemed just a bit tense Because there strapped in beside him was a dead lass, Her body, made comfortable at his expense.
Pillows brought him no comfort when used as a fence He thought to himself, “This plane ride will never pass.” He wondered if passengers jumped to his defense.
But then he saw a woman whose pain was immense. And thus he felt as though he was hers to harass, For he focused on discomfort at her expense.
She cried and screamed and grieved with feeling intense, She had never thought in flight was a way to pass. No goodbye, she could not steel herself in defense.
On this plane ride there was no sense of false pretense Because a dead woman had been moved to first class And was made comfortable at any expense, Because everyone knows, that against death there is no defense.
